Water

Ultrapure Water

Ultrapure water is required in many fields such as the manufacturing of drugs, for fluids to be injected, in pharmaceutical research and chemical analysis, as well as for the manufacturing of computer chips or integrated circuits respectively. As a rule, ultrapure water is obtained by reverse osmosis procedures and ion exchangers, always requiring aftertreatment by UV equipment as to prevent resurging contamination.

PURION® equipment series for ultrapure water disinfection are made of electropolished stainless steel, duly licenced for drinking water. They are ready for plug-in and supplied with connecting cable and safety plug. Equipment is designed for a 400 J/m² radiation dose. In case a higher dose is being required, equipment may also be supplied with other type of lamps.

Any of our equipment can be fitted with functions for monitoring operating hours and/or UVC intensity.

For every UV plant a complete PURION Assembly System is available.

Further specifications and measurements may be found on the corresponding data sheet.
